Landscape Journeys for Community Outreach
The Maati Se initiative organises landscape journeys with local officials and traditional knowledge holders (like the one undertaken on 13th September,2021) as a key process to engage multiple stakeholders in an endeavour to keep exploring the unique landscape values of nature and cultural heritage pertaining to this particular geography. These initiatives help us identify the challenges in preserving and propagating this knowledge by inculcating ownership and a synergy for fruitful actions through this network of relevant stakeholders. Each landscape journey is announced beforehand so that guests/visitors can join if they wish to.
